Review of The Secret Life of Bees (2008) by Sara S — 27 Jan 2010

What a lovely film filled with hope, inspiration and above all, love. The cast seem perfect and are all very believable. Fanning is such a good actress and will have so much to offer to cinema for many years to come.

Latifah is also very good, playing a very restrained character is roles she should take up more often. I enjoyed this film because not only did it have a sense of 'girl power' about it, but it was inspiring and realistic.
