Call me crazy, but The Searchers is not my favorite Duke movie. I know, it usually ends up on the list of best Westerns ever made (and on some best movies ever made). Don't get me wrong, it's a great movie.
But, it drags in places and I enjoy some of the more light hearted Duke offerings. That being said, The Searchers is a darn good film, and the Duke did some solid acting in this one.
