Review of The Sea Hawk (1940) by Christy W — 19 Oct 2008
Flynn's acting as pirate Captain Thorpe and an Oscar-nominated score aid this unusually long film to ascend to all-time great status. Fine swashbuckling thrills and timeless scenes. Totally unaffiliated with and yet always associated with Flynn's 'Captain Blood'.
