Review of The Screaming Skull (1958) by Christopher B — 29 May 2017
I'm sighing because I'm continuing to find it difficult to find anything to say about these terrible, terrible movies that I continue to subject myself to, but I digress. The Screaming Skull is another one of those terrible, terrible movies, but I must say that this one does have a bit of atmosphere to it.
That's not to say that it's worthy of the genre, but most of these types of movies don't even have that, so it has one up on them. However, it's horribly cheesy and mostly forgettable.
It was featured on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, and even they had a difficult time making light of it. I'd say that it's worth a look if you're looking for something with atmosphere, or maybe something to ridicule.
There isn't even really enough atmosphere or story to hold your interest otherwise.
