Review of The Screaming Skull (1958) by Jim E — 10 Nov 2010
This movie is underrated by RT users. Yeah it's trite at this point, but it was made in 1958, and you still see movies today that are reworkings of the same themes that are found in the Screaming Skull (not to say that they originated with the Screaming Skull; they originated primarily in literature). And besides, for a 50's B movie, it is kind of scary.
That being said, the dialog is very poorly written, and there are definitely stupid aspects. This is by no means a great movie. But I enjoyed it.
Oh, and the opening disclaimer/guarantee thing is phenomenally good.
