I had never heard of this movie until my friend Laura suggested it. Oh wow, it is so awesome. The main character, Stephane is absolutely lovable. The movie surrounds his inability to completely differentiate his waking life from his dreaming life, leaving his love interest, Stephanie, as well as the audience, a bit confused.
Michael Gondry has a beautiful way of making complete sense out of the insane. If you have seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I am sure you understand what I mean. A brilliant movie that should not be missed.
