Review of The School of Rock (2003) by Joe N — 31 Jan 2015
This movie really allows Jack Black to be himself. The results are a lot of laughs. It certainly got a lot of laughs out of me. Jack Black does an excellent job of carrying this film. I could tell he was just having a rockin good time with this character, and I certainly enjoyed it as well.
Now if you seriously don't like Jack Black, Shame on you for one thing, but I think this might surprise you. What will also surprise you is how much heart this movie has, as well as how good the kids were here.
They provided a lot of great support (especially for kids). Overall, a funny movie that I can recommend, and probably the best Jack Black movie and character that will ever exist.
