Review of The School of Rock (2003) by Robwinz — 07 Aug 2020
School Of Rock is honestly great. The movie's got a pretty good plot and it's pretty much about this lad called Dewey Finn (Jack Black) who's obsessed with rock music.
One day he ends up taking his friend's substitute teacher job for a school. So, he's got no qualifications for it but he just ends up starting to train the students to start a band.
The acting is pretty good from all the cast, especially Jack Black, he's honestly hilarious throughout this movie.
Also, the comedy throughout this movie works very well, I don't think any of the funny moments fall flat at any moment throughout this movie.
The movie's even got a pretty good soundtrack with lots of good old rock music from the 70s-80s.
Finally, the movie's got a lot of heart for their characters throughout this movie, which I really liked and you really do care about these characters quite a lot.
Overall, School Of Rock is honesty great. The movie's got a great plot, pretty good acting, brilliant funny moments and a pretty good soundtrack. If you're wanting to watch something funny with lots of good laughs, I'd highly recommend this movie, it's honestly worth the watch.
