Review of The School of Rock (2003) by Nickthecritick — 17 Apr 2022
A comedy in which a rebellious musician ends up teaching music in a very prestigious school. an extraordinary film that goes over the boarders of traditional comedy, becoming a novel, a crazy helzapoppin of situations, scenes and gags, mixed at rock rhythm.
Linklater proves to be one of those very flexible directors able to range from grim underground independent cinema to mainstream cinema.
