Review of The Savages (2007) by Dawn K — 25 Jan 2009
Strong character development as should be expected from the talents of Linney and Hoffman. "This is not therapy, this is life" became the undercurrent of a story line that acts upon the notion of pain so great that all the characters can only drift through lifes routine's never really connecting to one another, or really caring to try.
Very good movie, on a very powerful subject-- love and what is real.
