Review of The Savages (2007) by Laurie V — 15 Feb 2009
A really interesting film about ordinary life and distant families. I watched this on DVD three times in a couple of days and found something in it each time. Great performances all round. Resolution is sweet and touching without sentimentality.
Has lots to say about forgiveness. Some of the most amazing scenes of Sun City at the start - don't miss them. Surreal!
