Review of The Savages (2007) by Claudia G — 12 Nov 2009
Tamara Jenkins did a good job creating 3 dimensional characters on paper and Philip Seymour Hoffman Philip brosco and Laura linney made the real and human on the screen. No sugar added, no happy ending, very raw film about life and death and everything in between and the people who are affected.
Philip bosco as a dying man/ father just wowed me there are some scenes where I just sobbed because of his belivability. please do yourself a favor and watch the Savages.
