Review of The Sapphires (2012) by Jack C — 09 Oct 2012
The Sapphires was a mostly predictable climb-to-fame feature, and some of the plot points, particularly that of Julia, did seem to fizzle out before they finished. Despite this, the 4 of them had such a stage presence that it didn't particularly matter that to my understanding, only one of them can sing.
It was fun, involving, and even had a strong context.
