Review of The Sapphires (2012) by Liz B — 31 Jan 2014

I enjoyed this more than I expected. The actresses put in a touching performance. It may not be terribly sophisticated, but it has heartwarming moments and realistic-looking people living through situations that may otherwise be difficult to imagine for those of us too young to remember the Vietnam War (or too lucky to have personally experienced racism).
