This was terrible. really truly terrible. plotwise, practically a rip off of the far superior face in the crowd, a masterpiece by any other term. elvis is not a very good actor in this though the songs were enjoyable.
I did enjoy the jailhouse rock bit. yet another questionable choice on the new york times top 1000 list (this is quickly becoming my catch phrase).
