Review of The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006) by Daniel C — 19 Dec 2010
I didn't even realise they'd made a third of these Santa Clause films and after leaving the TV on the other night, we ended up watching this film. Ah heck, I didn't pay much attention to the second one so I give this a three star rating. It's nothing spectacular, but I'm sure it's got enough appeal for its target audience.
Jack Frost comes on the scene to wreak havoc before Christmas while Santa is trying to keep things running as well as entertain the in-laws who have visited the north pole. Through a plan, Jack Frost gets Santa to wish he'd never become Santa, allowing Jack to take his place and ruin the North Pole and Christmas except for the rich.
Of course Santa gets a chance to save the day and through a warm and gooey hug from a little girl, Jack Frost is turned to good as well. I mean come on, it's supposed to end on a happy note right?
Typical Christmas cheer movie for the kids...
