Review of The Sand Pebbles (1966) by Stacie — 05 Jul 2007
One of the true romances, in the grand sense, with love and pain and the whole damn thing. Steve McQueen was made to play loner Jake Holman who finds true love and a sense of purpose in 1920's China.
This is one of the very few movies I own and worth every penny spent and every moment watching.
