Starring Steve McQueen, Richard Attenborough, and a very young, and beautiful Candice Bergen. Steve McQueen at his best portraying a hard-bitten and rebellious sailor who finds himself posted aboard a U.
S. Navy river patrol gunboat at the onset of the Boxer Rebellion in early 20th century China. Very, very intense, and one of McQueen's most memorable performances.
