Steve McQueen, that is the WORST salute I have ever seen! Seriously it actually made me laugh! Candis Bergen was so young in this that she was almost unrecognizable...mostly her voice is what throws you, once they do the close up you will recognize her.
I'm not all in favor of the anit-hero so maybe that's why I didn't completely enjoy the movie...but I'm seriously wondering how it seems the Cheif Petty Officer looked like he had been in the Navy for 20+ years but nearly everyone else was a Petty Office second or first class and had about 8+ years.
...whatever apparently I'm the only one who noticed.
