The Salvation is a short and entertaining film with an impressive production design and well directed action sequences. Unfortunately, it's story fails to go anywhere very interesting or original, and the characters are essentially walking cliches, even if the films cast redeems this somewhat.
Overall, it's solid and watchable but undoubtedly imperfect.
