Review of The Salvation (2014) by Alexandre B — 09 Sep 2016
Fantastic dark and gritty modern day horse opera. Jeffrey Dean Morgan plays one of the most despicable villains to come down the pike in quite some time. In fact, few characters in The Salvation can boast a clean moral compess and even fewer will live to see the credits roll.
Strong across the board performances and the typically beautiful cinematography the western demands makes this one of the best post-Unforgiven additions to the genre.
