Review of The Saddest Music in the World (2003) by Erin F — 17 Apr 2008
This is just about the complete opposite of what I thought it would be; at first I loved it then I thought it was ridiculous then I actually liked it at the end. I'd never seen Isabella Rossellini act before and she really is a lot like Ingrid Bergman at times.
I really liked the music, especially "This Song is You" (in particular the cello version), I thought someone wrote it for this movie and was super impressed but I watched the credits and found out it was Kern, which makes sense.
I wish they hadn't cut off the music so much during the competitions but I liked the ending.
