Review of The Running Man (1987) by Adam E — 12 Dec 2008
In 2017, there will be a game show where criminals get executed in a very entertaining manner. I totally think this is believable! Unfortunately, as original as the premise is, the film suffers because of Arnie's horrible acting and terribly cheesy snappy phrases.
Richard Bachman (or should I say STEPHEN KING), who wrote the novella that this movie was based on, ain't no George Orwell; try as he might.
