Review of The Running Man (1987) by Craig B — 11 Apr 2010
This movie claims to be based on the book by Richard Bachman (Stephen King) but I won't fault it for not being so loosely based on the book. Where prisoners are forced to go through a maze and try to survive the many hunters set out to kill them (ran by the Bad Wolf Corporation?) as people place bets on their chances of survival.
Despite being so different from the book, this story is still awesome. It has everything that you would hope for in an 80's action movie. I sure got a kick of how much a bottle of pepsi costs in the future.
$16.00 for a 250mL Pepsi?
