Review of The Running Man (1987) by Douglas L — 15 Nov 2011
Arnie is the king of the one liners, and he shows a lot of it here. This movie may have a lot of cheese, but it has a great atmosphere to "play the game" Lots of cheesy but likable "stalkers" and Arnie kicking butt and putting out one liners that fit the movie and are funny.
This concept has been done over many times in cinema (Death Race e.g.) which was successful in its own right. One thing that now rules over TV is the internet, guess they didnt figure that one out :P.
