Review of The Running Man (1987) by Stephen T — 31 Dec 2011
Arnie is at the height of his powers in this one. It's 80s Schwarzenegger, so you know it'll be macho and filled with one liners. Based on a significantly different Stephen King book but baring the same basic plot, in light of reality tv over saturating the boob tube, the story here plays surprisingly better today than its satire allowed for in 1987.
