Review of The Running Man (1987) by Kevin G — 16 Jan 2013
While it might have seemed cheesy and over-the-top for 1987, with the rise of Reality TV in the 2000s, this movie (some effects excluded) has really aged well. The Running Man is basically the endgame for Reality TV, and it was made when the genre was not yet in existence.
This is my favourite Ah-nuld movie not called "T2"; it's action-packed, it's funny. Richard Dawson really makes this movie as Killian, the Family Feud host from hell.
