The Running Man is a fun dystopian sci-fi film about a deadly gameshow where the contestants must kill each other to survive. While not as gripping or polished as the similarly-themed Battle Royale or The Hunger Games, The Running Man provides plenty of action, satirical humor, over the top violence, and cheesy acting that makes it a lot of fun to watch.
It's no masterpiece as far as sci-fi films go, but it will give you a good time if you enjoy 80's action films.
