I will not put a star on this movie because I dont feel the meaning was seen. or maybe mr thompson was looking for the spot light. and mr depp saw it and or made it real (and yes I watched the extras).
I saw what was to be seen at the time of the writing (early 1960's), for the entertainment value I understand why it didnt get the reviews (of to day) that were WANTED by the writer (hunter) and the worshiper (mr depp).
it by passes its time. the world has been decensus-atized. to the hard ships of the real world. here or there. its about what we (not me) can get out of it. its about being notarised, power, and exploitation.
who made the most money out of this movie that was to open the eyes of the fun loving fearing tourists?
