Review of The Rules of Attraction (2002) by Sam B — 31 Jan 2008
This is by far one of the best directed movies I have ever seen.. hats off to Roger avary..some people may find it to be "dark" or immoral, but thats the sorry truth.. it is an extremely realistic story, every character in the movie has been played brilliantly.
. moreover each and every character, no matter how immoral or un-likeable, has a distinct identity..this movie is a cinematic treat, with split sreens and reverse motions and Kips euorpe trip montage to the mid sentence beginning and end.
.the characters and the dialogues will remain in ur head for days - "nobody ever knows anybody else". The most hillarious character was definitely richard/dick.. I can watch his dinner table scene again and again.
