Reviews be damned! The characters are certainly not the most likable people on Earth, but the direction from Roger Avary is absolutely astounding when all is said and done. The split screen montage is beautiful and the suicide scene is insanely hard to watch in the best sort of way.
This is teenage realism to a disturbing level.
