Review of The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) by Hassan L — 01 Nov 2011
What a cast, what a absurd story and dry humour and first and foremost... what a family!
A brilliant script and astounding acting hardly disappoint and when even Ben Stiller in one of his rare dramatic roles gives a performance I actually don't hate it must be a good flick. It even has a nice music mix consisting of 60s, 70s and 80s rock, pop and punk songs.
I don't know any of Wes Anderson's other works (yet) but after The Royal Tenenbaums I'm definitely looking forward to them.
