Review of The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) by Soraya B — 20 Jan 2013
I adore this film; it's quirky, poignant, dark and funny with a stellar cast! As always, Gene Hackman owns the "likable villain" role. The comedic element is pitch black and desert-arid; just how I like it.
Possibly the only time I have ever watched something which is compatible with my sense of humor, yet also delivers on a dramatic level. Excellent.
