Review of The Royal Tenenbaums (2001) by Jake P — 16 May 2015

I've got to say, Wes Anderson is an artist, he creates his unique films, and while I personally enjoyed Moonrise Kingdom over this it still manages to get to your sensitive side, it manages to creep up into your spine if you guys understand the expression.

The actos are very well chosen and display a very dark, very serious comedy, they don't play on bad jokes or stupidity but the play on dark subjects and modern day reality, what comedy have you seen today be able to do that? Exactly, Wes Anderson chose his cast very wisely, all with a great script .

However why the 1 less star? I guess despite it being under 2 hours, the film got a little tiring, you had to drag yourself to see the end of movie. On the other hand, great hit by Wes Anderson.
