Set after a event which has lead to a lawless society. It makes no attempt to explain this and just just moves on. Something akin to 'Mad Max' meets 'Duel'. The films starts with the aftermath of a robbery and the thieves making of with Eric's (Guy Pearce) car.
Which he wants back at any cost. The rest is a sort of unlikely buddy road movie going through the Australian outback. Bloody and grim and with a payoff that may leave you scratching your head. This film may not appeal to everyone but it is worth a watch.
