The Roommate has a good concept, but it easily rips off so many other horror films. Watching this, it felt like I had already seen it before! It's extremely cliched', predictable, and (more than anything else) not scary.
I did like the performances from Minka Kelly and Leighton Meester but they had such a lousy screenplay to work with. Had they added and taken away things from the script then I might consider this a guilty pleasure.
However, it's not enough to be "so bad, it's good", it's just flat out bad.
