The Roommate is everything that didn't work in horror movies put together. It was just not entertaining and slow as hell.

The thing that I took away from it was that it could have been way better if it was done right. This movie really should have focused on schizophrenia, and the affect on the persons mind. But instead it set it up with these boring characters. So in a "horror" movie like this (boring and not interesting) you expect some gore, but it doesn't even deliver on that. I don't even remember anyone die by the killer's hands except the cat (which you don't get to see the kill any way) and the boyfriend.

Don't waste your time with this film.
