Likable and generally underrated adventure movie with an impressive cast. Comic-bookish fun with a nice vintage feel and a welcome sense of self-distance. The effects, while perhaps nothing great even by the standard of the 90s, are playful and enjoyable.
A little B-movie gem that deserves to be polished off every now and then.
