I think that the last time I viewed THE ROCKETEER was back in 1991 at the tender age of 12. Revisiting it a couple decades later, I'm happy to say that it hasn't lost its charm. Mobsters, flyboys, Feds, Nazis, an Errol Flynn knock-off, and a full-blown giant make this a quintessential comic book romp and a worthy precursor to the director's later work on CAPTAIN AMERICA.
