This movie has this very cool and very true "Old Hollywood" feel to it. I think I would consider this a super-hero/comic book type movie, but you don't get that feeling that the hero is invincible or has enough super powers to fill a notebook were you to list them all (ahem Superman).
You've got the love story, there's nazis, gangsters, and Terry O'Quinn as Howard Hughes! Overall I love this movie! Yet another one that I MUST watch if I see it on. I just want to say that Family Guy is sooooo wrong about it's ripping on the Rocketeer.
Good movie for the entire family.
