Review of The Roaring Twenties (1939) by Stefanos T — 20 May 2011
The standard gangster film if you want to learn a few things about America in the Prohibition era packed inside a mere one hour and forty minutes. You'll also witness James Cagney in one of most brilliant performances.
I like his character way more than Scarface. The man he portrays exudes an aura of authority without being an obnoxious greasy looking Italian mobster. He is fair and square and always handles things by himself.
A character model to admire.
