Review of The River Murders (2011) by Dianna D — 18 Aug 2013
Average serial killer flick. Liotta is the biggest fanny merchant in the business, with way over a hundred notches on his bed post. When his past conquests start popping up dead with a cross inscribed on their tongue and a wedding ring up their snatch, it becomes clear that it is someone who knows him.
It has its moments and the cast of Liotta, Rhames and Slater are all great but it the plot is fairly wank and the script feels like a rejected pitch for a season of Dexter.
