Review of The River Murders (2011) by George E — 14 May 2012
This movie is so bad! Within first three minutes I knew this film will be complete waste of time. The only thing that made me keep watching it was that everything in this film was so bad! It doesn't happen very often that all aspects of filmmaking fail.
Overexposed shots, questionable editing (close up of a gun and cut to main character saying: 'You should be wearing a gun), terrible acting from actors that normally perform alright. You might get better acting experience from spending two hours watching showreels of wannabe actors on Youtube.
You'll probably end up hating Gisele Fraga by the end of this film. Her performance should be given as example of bad acting in every acting school. But the worst of all, directing. Which is probably the main reasons why this film is so bad.
Rich Cowan should be banned from film industry for life. Unless you want to spend hour and half watching exceptionally badly done film, pick something else.
