This is one of the best horror movies I've seen in ages. Beautifully shot, it builds an atmosphere of dread that's wonderfully oppressive. The character development is top notch and the reveal of the monster is perfectly timed and effective. The pacing, the climax, everything...5 stars all around.
The unimaginative dopes who are scoring it low and comparing it to Blair Witch actually offend me. It is a completely different movie in a myriad of ways. How can they not see past "lost in woods...must be a Blair Witch rip off?" I'm astounded. Seriously.
If you like horror movies, go watch this one.
