Review of The Ritual (2017) by Steven Y — 18 Feb 2018
I really liked this movie. It started off a little slow, and it seemed a lot like a mash up of Descent and Blair Witch, but it was actually done pretty well. My wife and I watch horror almost every day and she actually shrieked at one part.
Not saying it was the best movie ever or didn't borrow from many other movies, but it was shot well and I don't feel that it fell short at all. Watch it at least once all the way through and judge for yourself.
I would actually put it in the mix with Descent and Shrooms and keep it in our rotation of decent horror movies that we watch every now and then.
