This movie has gotten some really bad reviews, but I'm wondering if it hadn't been labeled a horror film, would it have faired better. I liked the film. I enjoyed watching the young priesthood candidate find his faith as the movie unfolded.
Scary?? no, not really. Yes it was dark and quiet. Even though it didn't make me jump out of my skin, I still found it an interesting movie with good characters in believable scenarios. Don't go into it looking for a remake of the Exorcist, and you won't be disappointed.
