One of those horror films that people either love or hate. I loved it. it definitely makes a difference to have seen it first in the theater, where I found it incredibly scary. I found it to be a lot better than the original japanese film, Ringu, but there was also quite a bit lost in translation.
still there was a lot of that japanese-horror-flick-weirdness so if you aren't into that then you probably won't like it.
