An unsettling and uncomfortable film. While I'm not a huge fan of the film, It does have some genuinely creepy imagery (I'd say the imagery is the strongest aspect of this film) and the story is interesting enough to keep you watching all the way till the end.
Not my favorite horror film, but if you have yet to see it then it's worth a rental, maybe a purchase because it IS a classic horror film and it jump-started the Japanese inspired horror craze.
