The official "Pax Americana" movie...fantastic treatment of the Tom Wolfe new journalism novel. Probably the most entertaining civic history movie ever...from the exploits of Chuck Yeager breaking the sound barrier to the first Americans in space; only concern would be that this can be too candyfloss glossy; for example, Gus Grissom's death on Apollo One is not depicted and the character of Ridley died in 1957 when he has scenes set in 1962-63 with Yeager.
