This movie is about the Mercury space program and events that lead to that. A true story that looks terrific, sounds wonderful and is funny, exciting and dramatic. I love the music, the humor, the high-tech, the politics (cold war) the space.
..everything! As far as casts go, "The Right Stuff" is very impressive with Ed Harris, Dennis Quaid, and Sam Shepard giving memorable performances. Overall, a phenomenal film that translates superbly from Tom Wolfe's novel.
